Indian Journal of Training and DevelopmentSummary: The study was conducted in two talukas of Dharwad district involving 120 beneficiaries to measure the knowledge about selected rural development programmes. The data revealed that the beneficiaries had appropriate knowledge to a larger extent about responsible staff for selection, service rendered in the scheme, need of training and profitable channel for selling the goods. Majority of the beneficiaries belonged to medium level knowledge category. Knowledge was positively and significantly associated with education and social participation. - Reproduced.
