YojanaSummary: If a Rip Van Winkle had gone to sleep in 1947 and suddenly woke up in 2003, he would not be able to recognise the developmental map of India. A country which did not manufacture its own needles, is today a nuclear power and a leader in Information Technology. The largest educational system in the World, it produces the largest number ofgraduates which our economy is desperately trying to absorb. In spite of the prophets of doom the country is on its onward march of civilization to realise the goals of culture and development. The largest functioning democracy India stands for peace at home and with all nations. - Reproduced.
