It presents an overview of the Centre's activities in training, research, consultancy, information and publication, assesses its achievements and highlights the constraints which CAFRAD faced in the implementation of its work. The article concludes with the way forward and prospects for a better and strong CAFRAD in the 21st century, one which will contribute effectively to the improvement of African public administration. - Reproduced.
