Regulatory governance in infrastructure sector in India

It examines the level of compliance by the players and effectiveness of directions and guidelines of the regulators. While analysing regulatory authorities endeavours to strike balance between entrepreneur and consumers and level of people's confidence in these matters, the article makes some recommendations for improvement in the regulatory process. The governance in infrastructure sector should at no point lose sight of social angle of development initiatives. - Reproduced.
