The modernization of management structure is a very serious issue and requires deep and critical analysis of the history of Indian social system. It also requires more integrated understanding of the contemporary challenges faced by the Indian management system. Karnataka Power Corporation (KPCL) is a production-based mega organization, which embarks on skilled and efficient workforce. The researchers in this article have made an attempt to study the various welfare measures provided by the organization. Based on the observations and conclusions drawn from the study they have suggested some useful suggestion to the organisation for integrating them into the policy framework. - Reproduced.
