The corruption is destructive, corrosive and saps the moral, ethical, physical, mental, emotional energy of the soceiety and demoralises indivviduals, systems, organisations, offices and institutions including non-governmental organisations to withstand the rigours of honest performance of their duties. There can be socio-political philosophical/ideogical approach and constitutional governance approach besides the institutional and legal approaches which exit in the existing framework and scheme to curb the menace of corruption. The critical factor required is the will and earnestness to affect these conclusively. - Reproduced.
