Democratic governance of Delhi 

<br/><br/> The article discusses the various committees/commissions beginning from Pattabhi Sitaramayya Committee to and ending with Sarkaria Committee Which go into the question of the Status of Delhi. Different options are suggested, but each one of the alternatives would require amendment of the constitution either by simple or by special majority. The author argues that there is a big hurdle in the immediate introduction of a new set-up for Delhi and the method the central government should adopt to delimist the constituencies for holding the elections
