Role of municipal finances in urban amenities: a case study of Mandi Gidderbaha 

<br/><br/> It is a case study of Mandi Gidderbaho, a small town of Fridkot district in Punjab. The rapid growth of urbanisation has increased the responsibility of the municipalities in providing basic public amenities: In this article author studies the role of municipal finances in providing urban amenities to the residents. The aim is to study: (a). the various sources of revenue of the municipal committee of the Mandi; and (b). the utilisation of the revenue with special reference to public amenities
