- 1995
- p.109-29
In this study, the authors have reviewed the process consultation approach adopted by GIMPA to allow the restructuring to proceed with less negative consequences and achieving effective results. The paper has reviewed the current state of the exercise, the background to the restructuring, the context of the rationale for the restructuring, the strength, deficiencies of GIMPA, the content of the restructuring and the role of stakeholders in the whole process. The main study is that for any restructuring exercise there is the need to apply a mixture of consensus in getting measures taken because of meritable problems of resistance to change on the part of some stakeholders in any restructuring exercise
