Sustainable consumption and production refer to “Use of services and goods that respond to basic needs and provide a higher quality of life while minimising the use of environmental assets and hazardous metals, as well as the emission levels of waste and pollutants over the life cycle of the good or service so as not to seriously impact the needs of current and future,”. In this term, there are many such items which can be implicit to sustainable consumption and production for example cement, lime, aggregates, forests produce, electrical and electronics devices. In the exponential growth of electrical and electronic devices in consumption and production has led to generation of E-waste scenario around the world. – Reproduced
