Across the world, studies show rising numbers in pesticide poisonings. Pesticide poisoning is a big problem in India. Due to various challenges, the data on pesticide poisoning compiled by the National Crime Records Bureau is not comprehensive. There is a direct linkage between intensive pesticide usage and poisoning.
