<br/><br/> The ministry of panchayati raj (MoPR) has been incentivizing best performing panchayats/states/UTs through national panchayat awards, including financial incentives ranging from Rs. 5 lakh to Rs. 50 lakh, across the country through awards annually under the incentivsation of panchayats scheme on the occasion of national panchayati raj day celebrated on 24 April every years. – Reproduced
