Reading ‘ignorance’ in refugee research - Seminar - 750, Feb, 2022: p.38-40

THE analytics of ignorance in a preliminary way aids us in thinking through decolonization, the paradoxes and the realm of ‘non-knowledge’ which is experienced by persons and groups, differently situated in post-colonial social spaces and time. Further, the variegated and layered nature of social reality, alerts us to the fallacy of how the epistemic status of the knower’s construction of knowledge thought of as real and true are at odds with the primordial, pre-theoretical ontology of the knower’s ‘being-in-the-world’ and their ‘being-with-others’. – Reproduced
