<br/><br/> In last three decades, higher education in India has grown tremendously and is considered second largest framework of education system in the world after China. However, the advancement in higher education has been unequal, as the professional educational branches such as engineering and technology, management studies have shown an impressive expansion whereas the courses in humanities, social sciences and sciences have not shown much change; private sector higher educational institutions have mushroomed much faster than the government institutions. – Reproduced
