Disaster management involves a continuous & integrated process of planning and executing necessary measures for achieving minimum damage to life & property. This paper discusses the myriad implications of disasters, dwells upon the significance of disaster risk resilience and proposes possible resolutions while highlighting the role of the Police, in disaster management. – Reproduced
