The ministry of civil aviation, under the leadership of the Prime Minister of India announced the liberalized drone Rules 2021 with a vision to make India a global drone hub by 2030. In order to boost the manufacturing of drones in India, the central government approved production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme for drones and components   worth Rs. 120 crore and putting import bans, paving the way for the domestic manufacturing sector. – Reproduced
