In this context, Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) is a systematic process that analyses and addresses the environmental impacts of policies, plans, programmes and other strategic initiatives. The paper aims to explain SEA, including its definitions and interpretations. It highlights the importance of integrating environmental considerations with economic and social factors and emphasizes SEA's role in supporting sustainable development.
