Children in conflict with law: Rehabilitation or further victimisation - The Indian Journal of Social Work - 84(2), Apr, 2023: p.149-164

Children from economically deprived families, who are victimised by their families and communities, are vulnerable to delinquency and enter the Juvenile Justice system. The objective of the Juvenile Justice system is to take concerted steps to address the child’s various needs and encourage them to move away from crime. However, children get further victimised by Juvenile Justice functionaries, making rehabilitation challenging for Supervision Personnel. – Reproduced
