Sustainable development goals and land rights: Scope of social work in India - The Indian Journal of Social Work - 84(2), Apr, 2023: p.165-184

The issue of land rights, which received renewed interest in the last two decades, gained further traction in the development discourse after its inclusion in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Despite this renewed focus on land, there is a dearth of data in Indian social work literature regarding land rights issues. This paper identifies land issues within the SDG framework and attempts to understand the scope of social work interventions related to land in India. Based on secondary data, the study identifies key issues and suggests possible areas of social work intervention related to land in India. – Reproduced
