The past few years have seen a spurt in artificial intelligence tools that can write. The tools are so good that it is quite difficult to discern that the writing is by a machine. Their algorithms can browse through a gazillion web pages to frame sentences that are freakishly cogent and human. The development of these devices has raised some critical questions.
