<br/><br/> India is predominantly rural with over 60 percent of its population residing I more than 600,000 villages and has around 60 percent of its workforce located in these rural areas which   contributes 46 percent to country’s gross demotic product (GDP). Notably, 48 percent of the population in rural areas are women (according to census 2011), with a women’s labor force participation rate of 41-5% (15 years and above) in 2022-23 recognizing his demographic significance is crucial, as women play vital roles in various developmental aspects of a nation. – Reproduced
