<br/><br/> The rise of Congress in Telangana and Telugu Desam Party-led alliance in Andhra Pradesh has significantly altered the political landscape in the Telugu states. Amid the rising footprint of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the once-formidable Bharat Rashtra Samithi and Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party need to fight back to regain their lost ground. The emergence of Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena Party, attributed to the backing of the Kapus, has also added a new layer to AP politics.
