This article presents a longitudinal exploratory case study of a project management office (PMO) in the banking sector, which participated in its organization&#x2019;s digital transformation. The focus is on the evolution of the PMO&#x2019;s participation during the transformation process. This study provides a rich understanding of the evolving tensions and challenges faced by PMOs and their connection as boundary spanners and contributors to the ongoing transformation from a multilevel process perspective.- Reproduced
