The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi's speech on 15th August 2023 outlined his plan to make India a developed country by 2047. He has urged every citizen to join in this propitious journey. This paper aims to analyze the contributions of women's Self-help Groups in making India a developed country by 2047. The paper positioned, that women's empowerment through Self-help Groups has contributed significantly to the development of the nation as a whole. Financial inclusion through Self-help Groups has empowered women economically. Women's economic empowerment has led to the empowerment of women in many other developmental dimensions such as social, cultural, political, etc. These empowered women have become a medium of development and transformation in the country. - Reproduced
