In the era of citizen governance, public grievance redressal mechanisms play a pivotal role in ensuring accountable and responsive administration. Citizen-centric governance emphasises the active participation of citizen in decision- making processes and places them at the center of public service delivery. It recognises that citizens can voice their grievances and seek redressal for issues they encounter while engaging with government agencies and services. In response to this paradigm shift, governments are increasingly adopting innovative mechanisms to streamline public grievance redressal and ensure prompt resolution. This paper examines the evolving landscape of public grievance redressal systems, highlighting their importance, key features, challenges, and potential solutions. - Reproduced
