<br/><br/> Based on ethnographic fieldwork in an urban village of Gurugram (Haryana), this paper explores the relational dynamics of social reproduction and care work within the informal urban economy. Focusing on women’s dual roles in waged work and unpaid labour, it examines how care is distributed and contested within families.
