Human wildlife conflicts must be understood not merely as spatial encroachment or biodiversity loss but as a socially embedded fracture a breakdown of relational ethics. To move forward, we need a new disciplinary approach anthrotherology an interdisciplinary field that draws from sociology, anthropology, ecology, economics, and ethics, to examine the reciprocal dynamics between humans and wild animals.- Reproduced
