<br/><br/> After the abrogation of Article 370 and the subsequent bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir into the union territories of J&K and Ladakh, only the former was provided with limited legislative powers. For over four years, Ladakh has witnessed protests demanding statehood and constitutional safeguards under the <br/>Sixth Schedule.
