The study attempts to identify linkages between entrepreneurship, gender inequality and legal perspectives in a targeted regional manner. The study area is the Jhansi district of the comparatively underdeveloped Bundelkhand region. The study follows qualitative research methodology based on primary data collected through in-depth personal interviews of four selected women entrepreneurs. The sampling method being followed is judgement and snowball sampling. The research design of the study is exploratory and analytical. Detailed transcripts of the conducted interviews were written. Major problem issues were identified. Their relationship with gender discrimination instances were explored. Subjective experiences were especially highlighted and were viewed in context of existing laws and their practical implications. Study found that the women entrepreneurial challenges reflect broader societal attitudes and cultural norms that contribute to gender inequality. Study directs policy for ensuring effective support to solve the highlighted issues in a targeted manner.-Reproduced
