Cuba’s sovereignty is non-negotiable, and the choice of society expressed by its people must be respected. It is not socialism that is responsible for the problems facing the island, but the undeclared war waged against it by imperialism. Cuba is paying a heavy price for standing up to the latter. At present, it is buckling under the weight of deprivation and pain, but it is not breaking.- Reproduced
