India’s cultural heritage is not only very ancient but very varied, revolving, as it does, around the rig Vedic dictum ‘Ekam Sat Vipra Habhudha Vadanti (the truth is one, the wise call it by many names). India has accepted all the great religions of the world which now flourish here. In fact, not only do they flourish individually, but there is a strong synergic tradition, whereby people belonging to different religions work in harmony with each other.- Reproduced
