The 14th ministerial conference of the World Trade Organization ended in failure. Its member states failed to agree on a work programme that could have proved that the multilateral trading system is still relevant. India should be disappointed as the WTO members failed to stamp their approval on its programme of public stockholding that supports the public distribution system.- Reproduced
