<br/><br/> Baba Nanak, also known as Guru Nanak was born in 1469 into a Hindu family of the khatri caste in Talwandi, a village in the province of Lahore, present day Pakistan j. S. Grewal writes, if we turn to the Punjab of Guru Nanak days we find that Islam in the Punjab had become nearly five hundred years old. Many pension, Turkish, Arab and Afghan families had scatted in the land during these five centuries (2017-18).
