<br/><br/> In this article, an attempt is made to analyse the impact of  water resource management reforms initiated by the government of Andhra Pradesh, recently on various agricultural classes, groups and the rural economy. The article is divided into three sections. The first section deals with the need for water conservation and its sustainable utilisation in the state. The second section discusses reforms on water resource management and their impact and the third section presents the conclusion of the study. - Reproduced.
