This article takes up the issue of village's adverse terms of trade with the towns in different ways. However, on the other hand, there is an external resource flow to the village from urban areas and many households substantially depend on this `money-order economy'. Further, amongst the migrants to towns, a sizeable number is settled there and second generation is getting pure urban socialisation delinking themselves from their rural cultural roots. - Reproduce.d
