Human development and tertiary employment in developing countries

Taking a sample of twenty four developing countries and using ordinary least squares test procedure, this paper reveals that the variable human development index is the most important determinant of the percentage of labour force engaged in tertiary sector followed by urbanisation, work force participation rate and percentage of labour force engaged in the manufacturing sector. - Reproduced.
