  <abstract>When comparing the levels of foreign direct investment in India and China, it is found that FDI in India it one-tenth of that in China. This paper compares the inflow of FDI in the two countries and finds that India may not require increased FDI, given India's factor endowments and the structure and composition of her economy. - Reproduced.</abstract>
