The flip side of the RTI Act - 2007 - p.21-38. - Jun

The show piece legislation of India namely the right to Information Act 2005 is in its 3rd year of operation and has received a fair share of book age and brickbats. This article is examines the emerging trends of usage of the law and finds the results to be not very encouraging. He finds that the public interest which the Act intends to secure is missing in a good number of applications. The application seek policy related information in very few numbers of cases. - Reproduced.
