Probity in public life is the antithesis of corruption in public life. The corruption is destructive, corrosive and saps the moral, ethical, physical, mental, emotional energy of the soceiety and demoralises indivviduals, systems, organisations, offices and institutions including non-governmental organisations to withstand the rigours of honest performance of their duties. The critical factor required is the will and earnestness to affect these conclusively. - Reproduced.
