Migration is one of the key strategies used by families to deal with these risks. This article uses a qualitative approach to understand the lived experience of family members coping with climate-related displacements. The findings indicate that climate-related displacements alter the power relations between family members, enabling them to take on challenging and changing roles and responsibilities that help them to cope with climate change and disaster-related displacements. –Reproduced
