Good governance: A new tool of sustainable peace in Jammu and Kashmir

It is a mechanism relates to the political and institutional processes and outcomes that are necessary to achieve the goals of development. It is the perfect instrument to establish peace and prosperity to the people. The present paper attempts to underline new features of good governance based on secondary data. It is found that by abrogating Art 370, the Government of India intended to ensure good governance in valley and resorted to several innovative governance measures in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir that has shown much promise in achieving the goal of development, peace and prosperity.
