his study is based on the socio-economic of land acquisition in the 7 villages where non-residential land and agricultural land was acquired to set up the Nabha Themal power plant in Rajpura, Survey was done using proportionate random sampling. The pre-acquisition states and post acquisition status of project affected families along with the problems being faced by the villages during the process of acquisition and after setting up of the plant have been assessed. – Reproduced
