This paper looks at the need to rethink, India’s paid-independence urban philosophy. Mast Indian cities of today are the result of a particular kind of master planning derived from the idlest of I Corbusier who thought of building and Benz cities as “machines for living in”. This mechanical view of cities introits the lived experience of rapidly evolving urbanization in the India. – Reproduced
