The action research was conducted in a multi unit public sector undertaking in India. The corporation had set up joint councils at plant, region and national levels a decade ago. It was discovered that the councils had not contributed significantly to the purpose for which they were constituted. Interventions were made with a view to assessing the effectiveness of joint councils as forums for bringing about continuous improvement in performance parameters through employee voice. - Reproduced. | ||
