| 520 | _aThe objective of this study is to highlight the importance of the perception management beyond the times of a military conflict. Doval doctrine is an amalgamation of the methods that have been used by the Indian security agencies under the guidance of Mr Ajit Doval as a counter response to the proxy war initiated by Pakistan. One of its chief features is the proactive use of the information space so that the perceptions of the domestic (civil society, political and pressure groups, academicians etc.) and international audience (great powers, international and regional organisations etc.) readily accept the information campaign of India. The study tries to unravel the chief features and methods of this doctrine and finally puts forward some recommendations for the public agencies as well as media. - Reproduced | ||
