The article aims to examine the role of FDI in the modernisation projects in the Railways sector, using empirical and analytical approaches through the use of primary and secondary data sources. The study reveals that FDI has helped India undertake modernisation projects such as High-Speed Rail Corridors and Dedicated Freight Corridors.
