520 _aRight to life and privacy acquires prime position among the fundamental rights granted by Indian Constitution. Judicial administration in ensuring it, thus, becomes an urgent imperative to be discussed. Right to privacy gives freedom of individual dignity. But it has been witnessed that individual privacy has become vulnerable to encroachment in various ways in this age of technological revolution. Thus, it makes an urgent imperative to examine the effectiveness of constitutional provisions and concerned laws. In this context, the present paper intends to assess the conceptual aspects of right to privacy, constitutional provisions, concerned laws, jurisprudence and judicial administration.
