It assesses the knowledge and practices of WASH among households in three selected villages. The findings reveal that despite progress made under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) and the Jal Jeevan Mission, significant challenges remain in ensuring adequate sanitation facilities and access to safe drinking water. The majority of households still lack proper sanitation facilities, leading to open defecation and unsanitary conditions. Moreover, a significant number of households do not have government tap connections, relying on alternative water sources. This paper highlights the need for addressing these issues to achieve a sustainable and equitable access to WASH services in rural Rajasthan. – Reproduced https://purjss.puchd.ac.in/issues/2022/purjss-vol30-1-3-2022.pdf
