| 520 | _aThe ancient Indian philosophy known as ' Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam', Which translates to " the world is one family," found in the Maha Upanishad shlok provides insight into India's approach to all inclusiveness; which inspired international collaborations for humanitarianism. India has actively participated in a number of projects over the years, showcasing its commitment to lend a helping hand to several countries. India's altruistic endeavours have been anchored by humanitarian help. These acts not only support the celebration of Indian knowledge and cultural heritage but also contribute in sustaining the ideals of responsibility, empathy, and compassion. The paper endeavours to study the financial and philosophical aspects of the compassionate role played by Government of India towards addressing global crises, providing aid and support to countries hit by natural disasters, pandemic COVID-19 and humanitarian emergencies that were handled through evacuation operations. This paper also dwells into the study of promotion of intercultural communication and internationalism as an underlying wisdom of ' Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam' post-COVID era. - Reproduced | ||
