Despite notable efforts in recent decades, these states continue to face structural challenges such as poverty, inadequate healthcare, educational disparities, low economic participation of women, etc. However, they also exhibit significant potential, with improving enrolment rates, better health indicators with digital connectivity, and a growing focus on women’s empowerment and skill development.
